Why It Matters
Lasting Change Means Building Local Capacity
OCHADPAF does not want to be the only source of care in Kilifi forever. Real, lasting change happens when the community itself has the knowledge and skills to care for one another. That is why research and training sit alongside direct patient care as a core pillar.
Research
OCHADPAF intends to pursue research collaboration on disease prevention with established institutions active in the Kilifi region, contributing findings that benefit Kilifi and the wider global health community.
Community Training Hall
A dedicated space where community health workers, local leaders, and partner organizations come together to learn disease prevention, maternal health, and mental health awareness.
Our Goals for This Pillar
Build an evidence base that tracks disease patterns, program outcomes, and community health trends in Kilifi
Train community health workers to recognize, prevent, and respond to common illnesses independently
Open our training hall to partner organizations who share our mission
Pursue future research partnerships with respected health institutions active in Kenya
